Tom Meany > Teaching Philosophy
Care and respect for the student are the mainstay of my music teaching
philosophy. Giving my guidance to the student's development so that
he or she learns the skills necessary to create music. To be flexible with
my own teaching by evaluating each student's individual needs and
enabling them to develop resources both technical and creative in nature.
With this knowledge and inevitable confidence, students will begin think
musically and indeed develop a lifelong love of music.
